This is not a dovish record, nor does it seek compromise. It's a physical, nocturnal, and hallucinatory job, designed as much for extreme hi‑fi systems as for the most hostile clubs. OD Bongo manage to transform disorder into language, noise into storytelling, confirming themselves as one of the most radical and coherent realities of the contemporary European electronic scene. The album puts controlled disorder at its center: rhythmic structures that break, accelerate, and collapse, becoming a true expressive code. Chaos is not an accident, but the engine of sound storytelling. The songs insist on saturated low frequencies, heavy reverberations and sound pressure, transforming listening into a corporeal, almost tactile experience. With Bongoville, OD Bongo constructs an unstable city saturated with bass, crumpled sheet metal, digital bounces, and dub mirages. Blending hazy techno, industrial trap, juke, gqom, and noise, Édouard Ribouillault and Amédée de Murcia transform their arsenal of machines into an underground amusement park where rhythms seem to outrun their own shadows.
